Save the date!  Our annual fall festival at Winthrop Park occurs on October 28 from 4pm to 6:30pm.  We'll have food trucks, live music, arts and crafts, and booths & exhibits from various vendors and the city.

You asked for it, you got it!  Back by popular demand is our neighborhood Fall Fest. Grab a blanket or lawn chair and come out to enjoy some fall weather. Enjoy visiting with your wonderful neighbors, both those you already know and those you will be meeting for the first time.

Festival Highlights

Talk with the Candidates

Who will be bringing a new day to Tallahassee? Meet and talk with the mayor and city commission candidates at the Betton Hills Fall Festival! We invited them all to the event. As of today, present will be:

Come out and give them all a Betton Hills Welcome.

Want to know where the candidates stand on neighborhood issues? Read their interviews with Alliance of Tallahassee Neighborhoods (ATN) members here:

Bee Kind

Can you imagine harvesting your own honey? Want to improve the health of flowering plants and trees in your yard? Want to help bees survive in this world? Come learn the basics of backyard beekeeping at the Betton Hills Fall Festival! Neighbor Leah Steele, an experienced backyard beekeeper, will not only give you the basics, she’ll have a live observation hive that lets you peek into life in the bee house.

Get Hungry!

Food Trucks are coming big time to the fall festival! You asked for it after our spring food truck night and we’re bringing it to you. More trucks, less time in line, diverse food choices – traditional, vegetarian, vegan, kid-friendly – you name it. I think there may even be some root beer floats in there! Here’s the lineup:

  1. El Criollo Grill
  2. Kitchen Witch
  3. Valhalla Grill
  4. Dan’s Deli
  5. Lofty Pursuits

We’ll have some tables and chairs, but it’d be a good idea to bring a blanket to enjoy a picnic in the park.

While we have you here, if you haven’t renewed (or joined) the BHNA for 2018-2019, please do so now. You can do it here!
