In the coming weeks, survey crews will be in the area to complete a survey of the McCord Pond Drainage Ditch. The limits of the study will be from Betton Road to just north of Post Road.

Let’s pull ‘em up . . . and hope for the best! On Tuesday, February 22, the Tallahassee City Commission voted to withdrawal the Comp Plan Amendment for Myers Park rezoning.
Thanks to more than 35 neighbors who participated, Saturday's Arbor Day event in McCord Park was a big success. Volunteers planted bushes and shrubs, mulched prior year plantings, cleaned the duck and blue bird houses and best of all, removed bags and bags of invasive ardisia.
Myers Park (and all city parks) cleared one hurdle last Tuesday night: the Planning Commission voted unanimously to deny the City's request to rezone the Parks & Rec tract. It’s important to remember: the rezoning proposal now goes to the City Commissioners, who will hear and decide on the request. Your involvement in the next week or so is vital.
