The Betton Hills Neighborhood Association (BHNA) has set up a matching fund for the purchase of one the sculpture, Anybody Home?  Any donation made by a Betton Hills resident will be matched by the BHNA, up to $2,750.

Arbor Day in McCord Park a Success

Thanks to more than 35 neighbors who participated, Saturday's Arbor Day event in McCord Park was a big success.  Volunteers planted bushes and shrubs, mulched prior year plantings, cleaned the duck and blue bird houses and best of all, removed bags and bags of invasive ardisia.

Myers Park Rezoning

Myers Park (and all city parks) cleared one hurdle last Tuesday night: the Planning Commission voted unanimously to deny the City's request to rezone the Parks & Rec tract. It’s important to remember: the rezoning proposal now goes to the City Commissioners, who will hear and decide on the request. Your involvement in the next week or so is vital.
